Dr.Hakan Doganay is a surgeon specialized in trichology and hair transplantation with over twenty years of experience in the field, having successfully performed more than 10,000 surgeries. Dr.Doganay began his clinical activity in the field of hair transplantation in 2003.
Recognized among the pioneers of the DHI technique (Direct Hair Implantation) in Turkey, Dr.Doganay has been performing this technique exclusively since 2010. Every diagnostic consultation and hairline design is personally performed by Dr.Doganay; no phase of the planning process is delegated to third parties.
Dr.Doganay is a member of the IAHRS (International Alliance of Hair Restoration Surgeons), making him one of the few Turkish surgeons admitted to this prestigious organization. Membership is not granted upon applicant request, but exclusively by invitation and following a rigorous evaluation process of skills. He also holds the distinction of being the first Turkish doctor recommended by the AHLA (American Hair Loss Association); to date, only six Turkish surgeons have been included in this list.
Out of a total of over 30,000 consultations carried out, approximately 10,000 surgeries have been performed. The fundamental criterion evaluated during the consultation remains the patient’s suitability for hair transplant surgery, and these statistics show how the doctor’s evaluation process is particularly accurate.

PROCEDURES OFFERED AND PRICES
At the AHD clinic, hair transplant surgeries are performed with FUE extraction, while placement and implantation are executed exclusively using the Choi implanter (DHI technique). Dr.Doganay has been using the DHI technique exclusively for over 16 years.
The price of the surgery is determined based on the number of grafts needed and extractable from the donor area. This number is personally determined by Dr.Doganay during the pre-operative consultation at the clinic, although an estimate is also provided by sending photographs.
The clinic offers two packages:
GROUP A: cost starting from 3300 euros
Consultation and operative strategy: Personally performed by Dr.Doganay
Hairline design: Personally performed by Dr.Doganay
Extraction: Performed by Dr.Doganay’s team under his supervision
Implantation: Performed by Dr.Doganay’s team using the DHI technique under the doctor’s supervision.
