Dr. Jean Devroye, HTS Clinic / 3616 FUT (strip)
✓ 49 years old, NW IIIa, with hair loss beginning at age 25 and a family history of baldness (paternal side)
✓ Started Minoxidil and Finasteride 1 mg from day of surgery
✓ Fine hair
✓ Normal follicular units
✓ % of hair in telogen in the normal range
This 49-year-old patient came to me concerned about his miniaturization in the front and middle areas.
A strip was performed and an excellent number of follicular units and an excellent u.f/hair ratio were obtained.
The anterior area was reconstructed as well as the central one. The graft density is not particularly high in order to preserve the donor area for the future.
The patient experienced a fast regrowth so that at 6 months the result was already remarkable.
2 years after surgery, the change in the patient’s look is evident.
