The hair in the donor area was quite dense.

The patient wanted the entire area of the scalp affected by baldness to be covered. Following an evaluation personally carried out by Dr. Hakan Doğanay, the patient was considered a suitable candidate for a hair transplant procedure.

Procedure:

Two hair transplant procedures were performed one year apart, for a total of 6,750 grafts.

In both sessions, graft extraction was performed using the FUE technique by AHD technicians.

Implantation in the recipient area was performed using the DHI technique (Implanter Pen) by Dr. Hakan Doğanay.

Procedure details:

1st session: the transplant was performed over three consecutive days (5,100 grafts).

• Day 1: 1,500 grafts
• Day 2: 1,800 grafts
• Day 3: 1,800 grafts

Total grafts: 5,100

Total number of hairs implanted: 11,650

Hair-to-graft ratio: 2.28

At the end of the procedure, a small uncovered area remained in the vertex (crown) region. All other areas were treated with the transplant.

On the 4th day, the hair was washed and the patient was provided with post-operative care instructions.

The clinic remained in constant contact with the patient throughout the year, and his progress was monitored.

The result after one year was very positive, and the patient was very satisfied. Upon examining the donor area, there were enough grafts available for a second session. At the patient’s request, a new transplant was planned for the remaining uncovered area of the vertex.

2nd session: one year later, 1,650 grafts were transplanted into the vertex area using the DHI technique, again by Dr. Hakan Doğanay.

After two years, the entire area affected by baldness was covered with natural-looking, dense hair. The patient is very satisfied with the natural result and has given consent for photos showing his face to be shared.
