During a conversation with his hairdresser, he was surprised to learn that the hairdresser was familiar with the clinic and the quality of its work.
The patient mustered his courage and decided to make the trip to Canada.

The patient still had a central tuft of hair that slightly framed his face, but his receding hairline, already very pronounced, had become a real problem.
The goal established during the consultation with Dr. Sood was to reconstruct and lower the hairline with high density, as well as to provide coverage and density to the thinning areas of the forehead and the mid-scalp.
For the remaining areas of the mid-scalp and crown, the patient was recommended to use 2% dutasteride Xyon gel.
Dr. Sood noted that the hair shaft was fine, but the quality of the donor area was excellent, particularly in terms of the amount of hair available for transplantation.

Drawing on the knowledge he had gained from Dr. Hasson during their years of collaboration, Dr. Sood decided to perform a procedure using 5,000 grafts via FUE.
On the first day, 2,600 grafts were harvested using a 0.85 mm hybrid punch (Waw system): 300 single grafts, 1,778 double grafts, and 522 grafts containing 3–4 hairs.
On the second day, 2,400 grafts were extracted and implanted: 1,819 double grafts and 581 triple and quadruple grafts.

Dr. Sood was responsible for creating all the channels using custom-made blades prepared at the clinic; all follicular units were prepared under the microscope.

The extracted follicular units proved to be very fragile upon microscopic examination, but despite this, excellent growth was achieved. In cases like these, with fragile grafts, the handling and management of the grafts are very important, and the role of an expert team like Dr. Sood’s (who has collaborated with Dr. Hasson for many years) has been fundamental.

The postoperative photos were taken one year after surgery, and the patient had a good amount of gel.
