 This 38 year old patient began experiencing hair problems around the age of 18. Over time, his hairline gradually receded and his crown began to miniaturize. During the preoperative consultation, Dr. Wong suggested that the patient begin using 1 mg of finasteride per day. The patient’s good hair caliber and a slightly above-average donor density allowed Dr. Wong to reconstruct a dense and natural-looking hairline with a limited number of grafts. A total of 1,581 grafts were used via FUE, of which 111 were single, 786 were double, and 684 were multiple. Dr. Wong personally performed all the incisions using the lateral slit technique, which he invented. Positioning was performed with a modified Lyon implanter. The grafts were extracted using the WAW hybrid punch system. The result shown is 9 months post-operative; the improvement on the crown is due to the use of Finasteride. PRE
