HLC Clinic Ankara – 4300 grafts FUE (repair)

This time we want to show you the result of a repair case.

This patient with advanced baldness had gone to a low cost clinic in Turkey attracted by the low price and marketing campaigns based on high-sounding acronyms like
for example DHI, Sapphire FUE, Ice FUE etc.. that you find many times on social networks.

He had been grafted with 2800 grafts by a team of assistants (no surgeon present) and the result was poor in all respects.
The patient had low density, poor regrowth rate, wrong angles and directions and most of all a thinning of the donor due to improper use of the micromotor punch and overharvesting in certain areas.

This can happen when you go to clinics where delicate steps such as extraction are left to part-time or inexperienced assistants.

The patient underwent surgery at our clinic to repair the damage suffered, as always:

– Manual punch extraction performed only by our surgeons with over 15 years of experience (no steps delegated to assistants)
– Grafting with stick and place technique to minimize the time in which the follicular units remain outside the body
2850 grafts from scalp and 1450 grafts BHT from beard for a total of 4300 grafts used for frontal area and crown.

At 10 months the patient sent us pictures of the result and we created this video.
As you can see the result is now completely natural.
