This case clearly shows that if the strip is correctly removed by an experienced surgeon there is no correlation between the height of the lozenge and the height of the resulting scar. In this case a lozenge has been removed in some points equal to 4 cm. As you can see the scar is hard to notice. In cases like these where a large number of units is required to cover a very large area, the strip technique is still the master.
The patient preferred to distribute the grafts to try to give as much coverage as possible in one session and still has several months of improvements ahead of him.
